Filters, regulators and lubricators are an excellent means of keeping your air supply in excellent condition, as well as allowing your tools and equipment to operate at maximum performance.
Filter regulators combine the functions of both a filter and a regulator. Container transportation is compact and most efficient when space is limited. The combined 3-piece units are a combination of filters, regulators and lubricators and additional devices can be combined in combination. They are usually connected together in a F + R + L (three-part combination) and F/R + L (two-part combination) scheme, although other configurations are also used depending on the needs of the application. Filters are designed to remove solid and liquid contaminants carried through the air. Filters can be ordered with various elements, including coalescing models capable of removing oil aerosols and particles up to 0.3 microns in size. Standard filters are sold with 5 micron elements; 40 micron elements can be purchased and installed separately.

The regulators provide an adjustable constant air pressure required for specific pneumatic equipment connected to the air system. All ARO -Flo regulators are offered with a standard adjustment range of 0-140 psi. Inch (0-9.6 bar). Alternative spring ranges are offered for easy conversion according to different requirements. Non-pressure relief regulators are offered for applications where downstream overpressure relief is undesirable.

Lubricators are designed to supply the correct amount of oil needed for most common applications in a pneumatic system, ensuring a constant ratio of oil to airflow. The precise adjustment of the oil supply sets the correct oil drain rate.
